1. Who we are

Novus Hubs, based in Florida, USA, operates Buried Historie Expeditions. You can reach us at dorsey@novushubs.net.

2. What we collect

• Your email address and the page you signed up from, if you join The Lost Places Letter.
• Anonymous click records when you tap a booking or shopping link: which destination, the type of link, and the time. No names are recorded.
• Basic technical data that our hosting provider logs automatically (such as browser type and IP address) for security and performance.

3. How we use it

We use this information to send the weekly email, to understand which pages and links are useful, and to keep the site secure. We do not sell personal information.

4. Email

Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed. We may use an email service provider (such as Beehiiv or Kit) to send the letter.

5. Cookies and third parties

Our affiliate partners (GetYourGuide, Viator, Booking.com, Skyscanner, Amazon and CuriosityStream) may set their own cookies when you click through to their sites, so they can credit the referral.

YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), but YouTube may still collect data under Google's privacy policy once you play a video.

6. Retention

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe. Click records are kept in aggregate for analytics.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing dorsey@novushubs.net.

Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and the EU/UK (GDPR) have additional rights, including access, deletion and objecting to processing, and we honor these requests. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law.

8. Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Changes

When this policy changes, we will update the effective date above.
